Game data
The current board, score, best score, elapsed time, and which of the gameplay events below have already been sent for the current game are stored in this browser with localStorage. Game data is not sent to a server or linked to an account. You can remove it by clearing this site's browser data.
Information collected through contact
We collect the inquiry type, message, optional reply email address, and page path. We do not store your name, address, phone number, attachments, game board, score, elapsed time, IP address, or User-Agent as contact data.
Purpose and retention
We use the information to respond, review reports, and improve the service. Cloudflare Turnstile and Cloudflare Pages Functions help prevent abuse and receive and relay inquiries. Verified submissions are stored in a private Google environment through Google Apps Script. Records are deleted 180 days after receipt, although deletion may be postponed until an active case is closed.
Service providers and disclosure
We do not disclose collected information to third parties unless you consent or the law requires it. Cloudflare and Google provide services needed to handle inquiries. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy and Google Privacy Policy for their handling of data.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand usage and improve quality. Browsing information may be sent to Google through cookies or similar technologies. The analytics tag and the gameplay events below run only on the production custom domain; they do not load on preview or local environments.
To understand whether the game is actually played, we may send game_start (start), first_move (first valid move), game_progress (the first time a game reaches ten valid moves), game_over (game over), play_again (try again or new game), help_open (opening how to play), and article_play_click (following an article link to the game). Each event carries only the event name and the display language. The board, score, best score, elapsed time, input direction, personal information, and user identifiers are not sent, and no event is sent for every single move.
